Welcome to Christ Church , Georgetown! Since our founding in 1817, this parish has faithfully lived the resurrection faith of Jesus Christ that dawned on that first Easter morning 20 centuries ago. The doors of this community of faith are wide open to long-time believers, those returning to the church after a time away, and those who are perhaps meeting God for the first time. We warmly and heartily welcome all! At Christ Church everything begins and ends in prayer and worship. On Sundays our services are at 8:00 a.m., 9:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., and 5:00 p.m. During the week there are three services each day in our beautiful and peaceful Chapel of Saint Jude: Morning Prayer ( 7:30 a.m. ), Noonday Prayers ( 12:00 noon ), and Evening Prayer ( 6:00 p.m. ). There are also two weekday Eucharists, Wednesday at 7:40 a.m. and Fridays at 12:10 p.m. We have a vibrant Youth and Family Ministries program reaching from the cradle through the high school years. There are over 220 young people creatively engaging the faith and life of the church. Educational opportunities for adults abound. Outreach and mission ministries are driving forces in our parish life. They begin in our own neighborhood, then extend around the nation and throughout the world. There are many ways for you to experience God's love in this place. So, come and discover the gift God has waiting for you in the life of this parish family.
