Garlic can assume in most cases a unique natural remedy for high blood pressure and other cardiovascular diseases as “attacks” these issues from several angles:

* Garlic is hypotensive or lower high blood pressure (hypertension).
* You hypercholesterolemic or helps reduce cholesterol and triglycerides. While garlic is increasing, in many instances, or good cholesterol HDL.
* Work in regulating high blood glucose or sugar in the blood.
* Improves elasticity of the arteries and heart, while keeping them clean of fat and the circulating blood is more fluid because of its purifying effect.

Thus in cases of high blood pressure can help, with garlic, to improve the whole “circuit” cardiovascular.

Contraindications of garlic
Whether you take several garlic raw or in pill form daily to be taken into account should not consume those who have blood clotting problems, tendency to bleeding and people with stomach problems, without consulting your doctor.

Did you know …?
One trick to prevent us repeat that garlic extract is the green that is inside. Chewing a coffee bean is very helpful to our breath does not smell like garlic. At first some people smell like garlic or lightly perspire but is an effect or discomfort as only indicates momentary normally we are discharging toxins from our body.

Researchers recommend the same diet of hypertensive patients to prevent kidney stones

According to an article published in the journal Clinical Journal of the American Society Nephrology, the same diet that helps prevent high blood pressure also helps reduce the risk of developing kidney stones.

The authors explained that it was known that a diet rich in fruits and vegetables, nuts, legumes and whole grains, lowfat dairy products and low in red meat and sweetened beverages is an important pillar for the prevention of high blood pressure. Now they have recommended this regimen to avoid developing kidney stones.

Remember that kidney stones are small, solid masses that appear in these excretory organs or urinary tract, which usually form when the urine has certain types of crystals that come together and result in larger bodies, which can cause great discomfort and pain .

Besides pain, people who have them may also have blood or discolored urine, high temperature and even vomiting.

The truth is that the researchers wanted to study the effect of diet on the prevention of kidney, and it worked on 3,426 people, some of which had already suffered this condition and others who had never developed.

One of the key points turned out to be that participants had adhered to the diet recommended to prevent hypertension, excrete more urine compared with those who ate a greater extent other types of food, and it even took the same amount of liquids.

In addition, the first group showed a higher concentration of citrate in the urine, a substance that inhibits the formation of calcium stones (the most common).

Given these results, the authors concluded that there are several components of everyday products, and vegetables and fruits in particular that seem to inhibit the formation of kidney stones.

Many people may suffer from high blood pressure but never find out until they visit a doctor to diagnose. This happens because the symptoms of hypertension are virtually non-existent or fuzzy, even in the most severe cases. In fact, if signs are present, usually appear when the disease is fairly advanced.

Either way, pay attention if you have frequent headaches, dizziness, extreme tiredness, bleeding in the nose, tightness in the chest or difficulty breathing. This perhaps could be symptoms of hypertension, but does not necessarily indicate the presence of this condition.

Now that you know the symptoms of hypertension are misleading, be cautious and visit the doctor to check and take away all doubts. Ideally, check your blood pressure at least every two years after age 20, or more often if you’ve been diagnosed with other cardiovascular disease.

Hypertension or high blood pressure often has no symptoms that are displayed, and if there are usually very vague. In many cases people with this health problem do not realize they have it unless they go to the doctor and take blood as part of a routine test. In fact, some call hypertension “the silent murderer”, so when you go to the doctor check you this.

However, there are some signs that tell you something is wrong. Take a break and learn what are the symptoms of hypertension.

The patient may have constant discomfort that does not feel good about himself for a physical. Others experience headaches, especially those who look like they were pulsating, just behind the eyes, to a greater or lesser extent. A red face, or dizziness are also symptoms. If hypertension is severe can see blurry or faint.

Other symptoms include fatigue, nervousness, palpitations, irregular heartbeat, chest pain, bleeding in the retina of the eye or nose, leg cramps while walking, nausea, vomiting, frequent urination, shortness of breath, and in rare cases heart attacks, kidney failure, or inflammation of the brain that can lead to coma.

These symptoms can manifest in people without hypertension and also why it is so difficult to diagnose without doing the usual: take the tension with a tensiometer. And if not careful can cause brain damage in the eyes, kidneys, heart and even death.

See a doctor and check how your blood pressure.

Our heart is a very important organ, but the most important for the maintenance of life. Its function is to pump blood to circulate throughout the body. It is a blood pump that makes getting to all parts of the body with the oxygen and nutrients they need.

When the heart beats there is a pressure that causes blood to flow. This pressure is called blood pressure or blood pressure. When blood pressure rises above normal levels, between 90 and 140 in adults, it produces what is called hypertension, is a very common disease worldwide, affecting 20 percent of adults .

But the biggest risk of hypertension is that there are no symptoms. You can have hypertension for years without knowing why prevention is so important. It is essential to conduct regular checks of blood pressure, this is the only way to know if you suffer from hypertension.

High blood pressure is a silent enemy that may be waiting to attack without us knowing it. Hypertension can affect the functioning of the heart, brain and kidneys, it is also a cardiovascular risk factor and increases the risk of stroke.

Although not known exactly the causes of hypertension, they have identified some risk factors that raise the possibility of suffering a long, high salt consumption, alcohol, snuff, lack of exercise and stress are just some of the factors risk.

Many people with hypertension have solved the problem by simply losing weight. Obesity is a factor of risk, and regular physical exercise, coupled with a balanced diet with little salt, alcohol, saturated fats and plenty of fruits and vegetables is also an excellent way to eliminate high blood pressure naturally.

What is Hypertension?

When your doctor with high blood pressure cumin, you wonder who is. Hypertension is a chronic disease, meaning that it lasts throughout life and needs of drug treatment followed by dietary and hygiene recommendations.
Hypertension causes an increase in the numbers of stress, tension or pressure is the force exerted by blood on the walls of blood vessels. To measure this value, it uses two digits, the highest value is the systolic pressure, or maximum (occurs when the heart muscle contracts and expels Lasangre of the ventricles to blood vessels), the lower is the diastolic pressure ( occurs when the heart muscle relaxes and blood reenters the heart).

What are the normal values:

If we take the average of all age groups we obtain a systolic pressure of 120 mm Hg. and a diastolic pressure of 80 mm Hg.
The World Health Organization considers that 140/90 mm Hg is the upper limit of normal. Values higher than 160/95 mm Hg are rates of hypertension.

Causes of High Blood Pressure:

Only 10% of cases the cause is determined, once the disease treated hypertension base improvement.
The remaining cases, 90%, the exact cause is believed to be due to various risk factors, and often the lifestyle of the person. A risk factor is overweight, it is estimated that 50% of obese were hypertensive. Dietary habits also play an important role, excessive salt intake can cause it.
Also on stress, emotions, tensions and continuing concerns in the workplace and the home may produce it. The lack of physical activity and inactivity, and excessive alcohol consumption may increase the numbers.

Care to reduce the numbers of tension:

1. Taking medication correctly stated, do not forget to take it every day or leave the treatment on our own.

2. Take a diet low in sodium. Do not take these foods because of its high sodium content:

- Cooking salt or table.
- Meat salted, smoked and cured.
- Smoked Fish and dry.
- Molluscs and caviar.
- Delicatessen.
- Cheese quite healed.
- Bread and biscuits and salt.
- Olives and pickles.
- Nuts.
- Preserves.
- Seasoning salt.
- Broths and soups on.

Recommendations for low sodium diet is accepted by the patient:

1. The presentation must be excellent to stimulate gastric secretions.
2. The methods of cooking steamed, grilled, casseroles and stews.
3. The cooking without salt is tasteless, it is necessary to take some resources to make it more palatable, flavor enhancers used as acids (vinegar and lemon), of garlic (garlic, onions, leeks), spices (pepper, paprika, curry , saffron, cinnamon), herbs (basil, fennel, thyme, bay leaf, mint, parsley, rosemary, etc …).
4. Using flavored oils, like olive oil. Vinegar and oil may be flavored with tarragon or fresh herbs.
3. If you are overweight, reduce your consumption of sweets and fats. Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables and salads.
4. Take a diet rich in potassium, because it promotes urinary sodium excretion. Take a banana a day.
5. Reduce or eliminate alcohol consumption.
6. Stop smoking, does not benefit.
7. Decrease consumption of stimulating beverages such as coffee, tea and colas.
8. Practice exercise continuous and moderate.
9. Relax and combat stress. Drive easy, sleep well, forget the worries and do relaxation exercises.
10. Avoid cholesterol and saturated fatty acids (animal fats) and replace by polyunsaturated fatty acids, especially omega-3 (shown in vegetable oils such as olive.
